Hockey Fights Cancer Night in Port Hope

The Panthers are set to host their biggest night of the year on Saturday as the Frankford Huskies visit Jack Burger for Hockey Fights Cancer Night.

Founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League® and the National Hockey League Players’ Association, Hockey Fights Cancer™ (HFC) unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. The initiative gets an assist from players, coaches, officials, equipment managers, front office staff, corporate partners, and fans. Together, the hockey family looks to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer. The Panthers Hockey Fights Cancer Lavender Night will be held as we face off against the Frankford Huskies.

The night will feature a Bake Sale, Raffles for Panthers Merchandise and Composite Sticks, a Jersey Auction, Panthers swag , and much more that will go towards a great cause.

The Panthers are also thrilled to be welcoming many special guests to the rink, with a pre-game ceremony being held for those in our community who have been greatly effected by cancer.

With capacity limits at 50%, the Panthers are able to welcome roughly 600 fans into our arena on Saturday night, as it is a great opportunity to “Pack the Jack” in support of a great cause.  Doors will open early, so make sure you plan accordingly!  To speed the process of entry up, please have your ID and QR code ready for our front-line staff.

A big thanks to our sponsor, Maria Ma Real Estate Services, for making this night possible by providing unique alternate jerseys for the Panthers.  To contact Maria, please visit her website for all of your real estate needs!
