NEW FACE BEHIND THE BENCH: PANTHERS HIRE HEAD COACH

PORT HOPE, ON – The Port Hope Panthers are proud to announce the appointment of Drew Allenby as the organization’s new Head Coach.

Allenby brings an impressive coaching résumé, a passion for player development, and a proven ability to build competitive, hard-working teams. With experience coaching at the AA and AAA levels, he has consistently helped players and programs exceed expectations while fostering a culture built on accountability, discipline, and teamwork.

Throughout his coaching career, Allenby has earned a reputation for developing both individual talent and team success.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes high-tempo practices, skill development, game-like competition, and adaptability, while encouraging players to play with structure, confidence, and creativity. Just as importantly, Allenby believes that a strong dressing room culture is the foundation of every successful season.
