PORT HOPE, ON – Steve is a lifelong hockey enthusiast and dedicated family man.
He is the other half of the founders of Mooresy Hockey Development and the Northumberland St. Pats, which he, and his wife Maggie, have led of over 8 years. Steve plays an active role in youth development – coaching tournament teams and serving as an evaluator for various minor hockey associations.
Off the ice, Steve is the National Ergonomic Coordinator for UNIFOR, representing General Motors. In this role, he specializes in resolving critical health and safety issues across multiple industries, with a focus on automotive. He is also involved in strategic negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, ensuring safer, more sustainable workplaces.
